How to diagnose postpartum hemorrhage?

Laboratory tests are beneficial in diagnosing postpartum hemorrhage. The nurse will initially chart the patient’s history and do a physical examination  consisting of Measuring pulse rate, blood pressure, red blood cell count, clotting factors in blood and estimating the amount of blood loss are few assessments which will help in the diagnosis.
