Treatment of Puerperal sepsis

Puerperal sepsis is a major complication of postpartum infections and one of the leading causes of postpartum mortality.  Identify the cause of puerperal sepsis, digital vaginal examination to find any placental bits or forigin body present. The doctor will prescribe antibiotics depending upon the type of bacteria suspected.
