Know about Pathophysiology of Nuchal Cord

Nuchal cords are multiple or single loops, tightly wrapped around the neck. There are two types of nuchal cords. One is type A which has a free sliding pattern that can undo itself and the other is type B which encircles the neck in a locked pattern that can not undo itself. 

Question: When the nuchal cord is tightly wrapped, do they show similar features like those seen in Strangulation?- Yes/No
