Are oligohydramnios a topic of concern?

As we all know, amniotic fluid helps in the development of the fetus , especially lungs, so too little fluid for a long time may lead to pulmonary hypoplasia. Poor fetal growth is associated with decreased amounts of amniotic fluid. It may be a complication at delivery, increasing risk of umbilical cord and aspiration of thick meconium.

Question: does less amniotic fluid lead to restriction in fetal development?- Yes/No
