Anyone of maneuvers such as McRoberts maneuver, Wood’s maneuver, extraction of the posterior arm should be carried out as a prophylactic measure. Mediolateral episiotomy should be performed to widen the vagina and release the shoulders. Planned C-section should be carried out based on the risk factors to avoid brachial plexus injury to the baby.
