Partograph: Alert line and Action line

The alert line drawn from 4 cm to 10 cm represents the rate of dilatation as 1cm per hour.

The slow and delayed labor is indicated when the cervical dilatation moves to the right of the alert line.

The line drawn 4 hours to the right of the alert line is called an action line. It is suggested that if cervical dilatation reaches the action line. This indicates that thorough evaluation and intervention is required.

DAKSH intrapartum mobile application provides features to record cervix dilatation. Try plotting it on the Daksh partograph. Try Automated Partograph
